Speaker Bio
Martin Zimmerman has worked in the Mobile Wireless Communications field for nearly 30 years, starting as a base station antenna design engineer and including roles in engineering management and technical business development. His current role is CTO for North America for the Outdoor Wireless Networks segment of CommScope, where he works with customers to identify needs and current pain points and with in-house engineering to imagine innovative solutions for these issues.
Martin has a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering From University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and a BS in Engineering from Caltech. He has published a number of technical papers and is listed as an inventor on over 80 US patents.
