With over 18 years’ experience as a global product leader, Shamit Bhat works as Product Director at GSMA. As a strategic products and innovation expert he has a proven track record of successfully delivering innovative and complex product development programs.
Shamit is responsible for the GSMA Equipment Marketplace, a circularity initiative to bring together buyers and sellers of network equipment through a global platform to help users source, resell, reuse, and recycle network equipment.
Shamit also leads the GSMA’s Network Settings Exchange service which helps operators and manufacturers manage their network settings effectively.
He is a qualified Prince 2 Practitioner with BE in Information Technology from Mumbai University, MBA in Finance from Leeds University Business School, and has professional education in Blockchain – Disruptive Technology from M.I.T. (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
