Speaker Bio

Susannah Larson is an Assistant Bureau Chief in the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (WTB) of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC).  Most recently, she served as Deputy Chief of WTB’s Competition and Infrastructure Policy Division.  During her time in WTB, she has overseen a wide range of FCC proceedings, including wireless transactions review, handset unlocking, hearing aid compatibility, and Alaska Connect Fund.  Prior to joining the FCC in 2019, Ms. Larson worked at the law firm of HWG LLP, where she focused on telecommunications regulation and regulatory approval of mergers and acquisitions.  She also served as a law clerk to United States District Judge Peter J. Messitte in the District of Maryland.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and her law degree from the George Washington University Law School.
