Brian was a Co-Founder of SaaS vehicle telematics pioneers Grey Island Systems in 1998 along with BeWhere CEO Owen Moore. In his roles there, both as Chairman of the Board and as Executive Vice-President, Brian was instrumental in establishing the profitable niches and landing the marquee clients in local and state government markets.
Grey Island was multi-year recipient of Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Profit 100 honours and sold in 2009 for $38M. That operation is now part of the Government Solutions portfolio of well-known telematics vendor Geotab. Prior to that, Brian held various roles in Marketing and Market Research in the Utilities, Logistics as well as with an Enterprise Asset Management software vendor.
Most recently, Brian has been part of the team at BeWhere that has brought them from startup to profitability with annual revenues of $12M revenue last year as pioneers in the application of 5G IoT to asset tracking. Brian has a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Western University.
