Speaker Bio
Doug White is a 5G Principal Engineer at the MITRE Corporation, where he leads and provides expertise in 5G/xG technologies for a variety of federal initiatives, including those for the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense, and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration. He joined MITRE in 2021 after over 23 years in the telecom industry with Motorola and Nokia. At Nokia, he most recently served as the 5G Product Manager for North America and the 5G Technical Lead for key U.S. operators, achieving industry milestones such as the first standards-based 5G handoff, the launch of the first commercial 5G network, and the first commercial virtual Radio Access Network in North America. Doug holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Southern Methodist University
