Speaker Bio
Ulf Ewaldsson is President of Technology at T-Mobile. He is responsible for the management and development of T-Mobile’s wireless network, the company’s information technology services and technology operations. Ulf joined the Un-Carrier in 2019 as the Executive Vice President and Chief Network Officer at T-Mobile to lead and transform the company’s 5G deployment, and oversee a nationwide team that builds, operates, and maintains the T-Mobile Network. Prior to joining T-Mobile, Ulf held several leadership positions at Ericsson, including Chief Technology Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, Head of Radio Business and Head of Business Area Digital Services.
One of the founders of 5G mobile technology, Ulf has been instrumental in creating some of the industry’s most innovative products and launching many global concepts that have received global recognition. He is known throughout the wireless industry for his passion and track record for driving innovation, operations and execution.
Ulf holds a Master of Science and a Master of Business Management from Linköping Technical University in Linköping, Sweden. He also attended executive training at Columbia University in New York City. He has served on several boards of directors including ASSA-ABLOY AB, Telecom Management Forum, the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and more. He currently serves on the boards of Corporate Fiber AB and the National Nordic Museum in Seattle and is a member of the Royal Academy of Engineering in Sweden.
He and his family live in Bellevue, WA, where T-Mobile is headquartered and enjoys playing tennis, hiking and oil painting.
