Speaker Bio
Priya is the client strategy & innovation leader for IBM's telecom, media & entertainment (TME) sector in the Global Industries team. She works with clients to help them identify transformation opportunities that drives business growth and competitiveness. Previously she led the TME research area for the IBM's thought leadership division, the IBM Institute for Business Value (IBM IBV).
She is a telecommunications engineer by training and has worked with operators across continents. She brings her deep and broad understanding of the telecom value chain, partnerships, competitions, regulation, automation, and advanced technologies to help clients understand the business value of technology. Priya has special interests in AI for telecommunications and 5G commercialisation and is a member of the AI expert working group for the UK Telecommunication Innovation Network (UKTIN).
Priya is an author of a book, peer-reviewed journal articles, and IBM publications; She is also a speaker at conference keynotes and panels as well as university guest lectures.
