Speaker Bio
Lory Thorpe is an Executive leader with over 20 years senior level, global experience in telecommunications, security and digital transformation, with a technology, innovation and partnership background in next generation networks, IoT and connectivity enabled industries across Private and Public sector. Her previous experience includes both operator and vendor roles, working for major telecommunication companies such as Ericsson, Nokia and Vodafone.
Lory is a Senior Strategy Consultant within IBM Quantum, leading the Quantum Safe for Industries and Partnership agenda. She is the Chair of the GSMA Post Quantum Telco Network Task Force, which is focusing on preparing the Telco industry for the Quantum Era.
Lory is originally from Toronto, Canada and lives in London, UK with her family.
