Tom is an established technology leader with over two decades of experience in the IT industry. Having held various roles such as developer, technical lead, solutions architect, and technical architect, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. Tom has been instrumental in driving innovation at Southwest, particularly in the areas of IoT, mobility, cloud computing, and AI. He has a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable IoT infrastructures, seamlessly integrating edge and cloud computing technologies. Currently, Tom leads the Southwest Innovation and Emerging Trends Architecture Practice. In this capacity, they spearhead the implementation of Generative AI initiatives, ensuring the platform architecture, governance, and patterns are robust enough to support these cutting-edge capabilities across the enterprise.
