Tech4Girls is dedicated to empowering young women aged 18 and above in their career journeys by connecting them with influential leaders and career development resources. Taking place over two dynamic days, Tech4Girls at MWC Las Vegas 2024 will allow the girls to explore the dynamic Wireless Telecom Industry and discover exciting professional opportunities in technology. Sponsored by T-Mobile, Verizon, and the Women’s Wireless Leadership Forum (WWLF), the program underscores the tech ecosystem's commitment to fostering gender diversity and supporting young women in telecommunications as key drivers of innovation and societal advancement.

Day 1: Wednesday, October 9th, 2024
On the first day, participants will be introduced to the world of Wireless Telecommunications, exploring key enabling technologies and the different career paths within the Telecom industry. The sessions will be led by industry professionals and inspiring female role models who will share their personal experiences and insights, offering a unique and motivating perspective on building a successful career in Telecom.
During the workshop, the girls will hear from Asisat Oshoala, a successful Nigerian professional footballer widely regarded as one of the best female players in women's football and her generation, with her inspiring experience and work to reduce the gender gap.

- 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM PT: MWC Show Floor Guided Tour
The Tech4Girls Tech Workshop followed by the guided tour of the MWC showroom floor provides an exclusive look at the latest innovations and technologies in the telecom sector.
By integrating these diverse elements, Tech4Girls aims to offer the participants a comprehensive introduction to the telecommunications field, fostering professional growth and inspiring the next generation of women leaders in technology.
