Session Description

AI-RAN represents a groundbreaking approach with significant potential for Network Operators. This session will delve into key use cases and benefits for Virtualized Radio Access Networks (vRAN), Network Slicing, and Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC).

Arrcus' founder and CTO, Keyur Patel, along with the VP of Product Management and Marketing, Sanjay Kumar, will join representatives from NVIDIA to explore the collaborative efforts driving the acceleration of 5G network functionality.

The discussion will highlight how advanced data processing and network management technologies at the edge are enhancing the efficiency, security, and intelligence of 5G networks.

Virtualized RAN (vRAN): The session will explore techniques for offloading and accelerating computationally intensive vRAN functions, such as signal processing, channel coding, and modulation/demodulation, thereby enhancing the efficiency and scalability of vRAN deployments while reducing costs.

Network Slicing: Insights will be provided on handling complex traffic steering and isolation necessary for network slicing. The approach enables multiple virtual networks with varying requirements to coexist on a shared physical infrastructure, optimizing resource utilization.

Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC): The discussion will also cover strategies for accelerating MEC applications at the network edge, supporting real-time analytics, AI/ML inferencing, and content delivery to provide low-latency services closer to end users
